What is Sodium Hydrogen Sulphate? Also known as sodium bisulphate, it is a chemical compound with the formula NaHSO4. It's an acid salt formed by partially neutralising sulphuric acid with a sodium base. It's a dry, granular, white, hygroscopic powder that is soluble in water. Solutions of sodium bisulphate are acidic, with a 1M solution having a pH of less than 1.
